Introduction
36 Big Books for Primary 1 and 2 will complement the Targeting Mathematics Teacher’s Resource Package. This series of books capitalises on children’s love for fun stories. These big books will:
- help pupils develop interest in mathematics through story-sharing
- help pupils to understand mathematical language
- reinforce specific concepts
- stimulate discussion for young learners
- aid in interactive tools for classroom instruction via the interactive whiteboard
